Ashland County intends to apply for the PY 2025 Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program (CHIP) which may include CDBG, HOME, and OHT funds. This is a competitive grant administered by Ohio Department of Development /Office of Community Enhancement (ODOD/OCE). The County is interested in acquiring the services of a consultant firm to prepare the application, perform the environmental review, develop and implement the program.
moreThe first of two public hearings will be held at 9:30 a.m. on February 27, 2025, at the County Commissioners Office in the Ashland County Office Building, located at 110 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio. This hearing will give citizens pertinent information about the CDBG program, including an explanation of eligible activities, program details, and filing requirements.
moreCitizens and officials from villages and townships are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting on April 7, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. to provide their input on the needs for their individual area of the county. The meeting will be held in the County Commissioners’ meeting room at 110 Cottage Street, Ashland.
