LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given to any person with any right or title in interest that the Ashland County Court of Common Pleas in State of Ohio v. Michael Williams, Case No. 23-CRI-196, has ordered a criminal forfeiture of 2017 Buick Lucerne, VIN No. 1G4HP57287U173069. This property will be dispositioned pursuant to law. This Notice shall be published on the Ashland County website and the Ashland County Facebook page beginning on January 15, 2026 and continuing through and including January 23, 2026, pursuant to R.C. 2981.04(D). This forfeiture is subject to legal interests of third parties who may file a petition asserting a legal interest in the property with the Court within thirty days after the final publication of this Notice. NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by Ashland County, Board of Commissioners until 9:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2026, for the New Administration Building for Ashland County located at 345 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio, 44805. Sealed bids shall be delivered to the Commissioner’s Office, located at the Ashland County Administration Building, Second Floor, 110 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805. The bids will be publicly opened and read during the Board of Commissioners regular meeting. Sealed bids will be received for the General Construction Contract. The probable contract cost for the base bid construction contract is $ 7,000,000. Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and services required to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. Plans and specifications for the Project may be obtained from VSWC Architects, 414 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040; phone (513) 398-4931; email brad@vswc.com. Each proposal shall contain the name of every person interested therein. Each proposal shall meet the regulations of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid (including add alternates) or a certified check, cashier’s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount (including add alternates), in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No bids may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Ashland County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such review as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder submitting a bid for the Project.
