As a county emergency management director, I lead the charge in keeping our community safe by preparing for, responding to, recovering from, and mitigating disasters. I coordinate emergency operations, develop response plans, and ensure first responders, government agencies, and community partners work together seamlessly. When a crisis strikes—whether it’s a tornado, flood, or hazardous spill —I activate resources, communicate critical information, and take swift action to protect lives and property. Through training exercises, public education, and strategic planning, I help minimize risks and strengthen our community’s resilience. After the disaster, I focus on rebuilding a stronger community and ensuring we are even more prepared for the future. Every day, I work to safeguard our county and stand ready for whatever comes next.

As an Emergency Management Specialist, I take proactive steps to protect lives and property by developing emergency response plans, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating disaster drills. A key part of my role is establishing reliable emergency communication systems to ensure clear, real-time information sharing between first responders, government agencies, and the public. I work closely with local partners to streamline disaster response, allocate critical resources, and improve recovery efforts. Whether it’s severe weather, hazardous materials, or public health crises, my focus is on preparedness, mitigation, and rapid response.
